Senior SRE / Platform Engineer.
Embedded with one of our DACH or Nordics clients, building the kind of platform their own team will actually run when we leave.
The work
You'll join a 3–5 person nearcore pod embedded with a client — usually a DACH bank, telco, or industrial. Your day looks like the client's senior engineers' day: their Slack, their repo, their on-call (when scoped). Plus a weekly nearcore guild where the platform discipline trades notes.
You're senior. That means you make architectural calls, push back when the brief is wrong, and write the runbooks that someone else will actually use.
What you'll work on this year
- An EKS migration for a Tier-1 bank — already mid-flight, you'd own the Terraform module library.
- A green-field FinOps platform for a Nordic SaaS — Crossplane, OpenCost, internal developer portal.
- Helping a healthtech client cut their CI from 38 minutes to under 10 — Buildkite, monorepo splits, the whole thing.
- One project we don't know about yet, because that's how this works.
About you
- 5+ years building and running production platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP — at least one at a serious scale.
- Senior on Terraform (or Pulumi). Comfortable with Helm, ArgoCD, Istio or the equivalent.
- You've been on-call. You've written the post-mortem. You can tell when someone is bullshitting in an incident.
- You write. Documentation, runbooks, ADRs. Not because you love it, but because you've seen what happens when nobody does.
- European time zone. English working language; German, Polish, or French is a real plus.
The deal
- Day rate €720–€960 depending on experience. Reviewed annually.
- 30 days holiday. Two weeks fully paid between projects.
- €3,000/yr learning budget. Conferences are work, not benefit.
- Hardware: pick what you want, we buy it.
- Pension contributions matched up to 6% (DE/AT/CH); local equivalent elsewhere in EU.

Not quite this role?.
If you're senior and adjacent — security, network, software, data — drop us a line anyway. We hire for the people, not the headcount plan.
