Most of the team came from the Big Four and tier-one system integrators. We'd lived through the same project shape too many times: a senior partner sells the work, a junior team delivers it, six months in the client wonders why nothing has shipped.
The fix was obvious — staff with seniors, embed instead of "advise," price honestly — and nobody at the larger firms was going to do it because the unit economics didn't work for them.
nearcore IT was the smaller bet. Forty engineers max, ever. No graduate program. No regional sales VPs. Just senior people who like the work, sent to clients where the work is real.

Senior or not at all
No juniors on client engagements. Every engineer we send has shipped production at scale somewhere — usually somewhere recognizable.
Embedded, not advisory
We join your standups, your repo, your on-call. Decks are for kickoffs and rolloffs; in between, we ship.
Knowledge stays
When we leave, your team owns what we built. Pairing, documentation, and handoff are scoped from week one.
Same time zone, same room
European hours. CET±2. No "follow-the-sun" handoff theatre.
Plain pricing
Day rate or monthly retainer. No hidden uplifts, no "value-based" discovery phase. The proposal fits on one page.
Hard things, said early
If we think your architecture is wrong, you hear it in week two — not in the post-mortem.
